Thank goodness for the internet. I was thinking about downloading Internet Explorer 7 (I use Firefox on a daily basis, but have IE for testing purposes), but definitely will not after reading some of the complaints.
My mother-in-law wasn't so lucky. She saw the notice from Microsoft, thought she could trust Microsoft, and ended up with a browser that now longer does the key things she is used to. Going back to IE 6 is nearly impossible.
Great job, Microsoft!

Why did you say that going back to version 6 is nearly impossible?
I downloaded 7 and decided I didn't like it. It took me less time to remove it, than it did to install it in the first place.
I didn't even lose any bookmarks or any customized information when I reverted to version 6.
