Christmas came early this year at our house when my husband bought me an iPod (block, 30Gb, video). I've been wanting one for years and I'm loving it, but it brings up the problem of organizing all the things that need charging while keeping them in a place easy to access.
The iPod docks to the computer, of course, and my cellphone and Bluetooth headset to an electrical plug, but I'd like to keep them in one place on my desk.
Cool Hunting came up with this solution, basically a pot with a lid with a hole for the cords and cables.
I like it, but at $179, it is pricy. I'm thinking that a nice flowerpot, with a plywood lid would work just as well. Use a pretty pot, paint the plywood and drill holes for an extension cord/USB cable to run out the side of the pot, and I have a nice organizer for my stuff.
I'm going to try it this weekend and I'll post photos of what I come up with.
