Use Znitch to Track Your Brand

I've been trying out Znitch, a nifty way to get notified when information you want to know about appears on a particular web page. For example I Znitched www.digg.com and www.technorati.com for the keywords "web 2.0" and collaboration. When those keywords appear I get an email.

User can also be notified by SMS, which is ideal if you are apartment-hunting on Craig's List and want to know immediately when a new listing appears.

Znitch offers several examples of useage:

Searching for a particular item in ebay
notification of your name, product or competition in a blog, on Digg, Technorati or MySpace page

My favorite is "anything you want from a webpage but are too lazy to keep checking back every minute".

Znitch is so Smart! Type in the web address you’d like to monitor, type in some keywords that you’d like Znitch to hunt for and then put in your email address. I’ve also installed a znitch for ‘vodafone’ on engadget.com. I’m going to see how it works.

guys, thanks for talking us up. we have a brand new feature now: "ROLLING ZNATCHES IN RSS (RZR)".

What this means is that in addition to getting email or sms alerts, you can now syndicate your znitch results (znatches) in one simple rss feed. its kinda like an ongoing google top 10 page based on relevance AND "most recent"
