GoToMeeting Announces Mac Support in Feature Upgrade

Citrix, the company behind GoToMeeting, announced today that it is adding and upgrading features in its GoToMeeting 3.0. Accounts should be upgraded within the next two weeks.

New features include:

Macintosh® Attendee Support — Mac-based attendees can now join and view GoToMeeting sessions on both PowerPC and Intel processors.

Microsoft® Office® Integration — Meeting Organizers can now quickly access the GoToMeeting toolbar from within a MS Word, MS Excel® or MS Powerpoint® application putting the power of online collaboration within the applications you use the most often.

Instant-Messaging Integrations — Organizers can launch GoToMeeting with one-click from within a Google Talk™, Skype™ Chat, Yahoo!® Messenger, Windows Live® Messenger and Microsoft Communicator sessions.

Improved Audio Quality of Meeting Recordings — Crisper and cleaner audio playback at CD quality make your online meetings easier than ever to archive for later playback.

Auto-Save Chat Log — Organizers can automatically save the chat log to a file on their local PC so that you never forget to follow up on an attendee's question.

I'm very excited about the Mac support and plan on testing it with some clients as soon as possible.
