
Google is also investing in the potential. Google has landed Mike Cohen, a co-founder of speech recognition pioneer Nuance Communications, creators of Dragon Naturally Speaking, to serve as the head of its research for speech recognition.
I was encouraged when I used Dragon Naturally Speaking 8 last year for a huge data entry project and found it was miles ahead of previous applications. It's newest version, 9, is rumoured to be even better and I'm looking to upgrade and see if I can't switch to blogging by voice in the future.
