Interesting open source alternatives for handling online meetings, videos, screenshots, and files: DimDim, CamStudio, MWSnap, CutePDF, FileZilla, CrossLoop and CoPilot.
Yes that piece of software from Microsoft does a good job. I'm sorry to say I don't see any free source variant cming too soon
I worked with a lot of companies that develop this type of training using Captivate and Camtasia, but Pentext seems to be the best for development and support.
