Know More: Google Calendar 2.0, Google Calendar

Kiko, the ajaxy web calendar software, is up for sale on Ebay. Kiko invester Paul Graham blames Google, but quite frankly I like Kiko more than Google Calendar. I agree with the Central Desktop Blog - Kiko didn't have a viable business model when they started.

Startups can't keep giving everything away, much as consumers like it. We said it in the 90's and I'll repeat it here - you run a business. Businesses make money. Act like a business. Backpack gets it, as Signal v. Noise points out.
