Sharing categories include "Fun", "Love", "Money", "Body" and "Goals". You can even write your life story. A macabre feature, but one I'm sure appeals to the older members is the "Obit" section. Famous people obits are here and you can add tributes and memories of your own.
Eons claimed that 71% of its members are between 50 and 60 years of age, and new members are split evenly between men and women. There are discussion boards as well.
One thing I noticed is that the interface is not all that easy to understand. Click on a link and you end up on another page with a bunch of links. For example, clicking on the "Love" link from the home page takes you to another page with navigation. There are articles, but nowhere to.... ah, there it is, below the fold on the right. A place where I can enter my information as a goal list.
Once signed up, the home page is pretty cool - although the Obit alerts is pretty strange - I suppose it does appeal.
Meh - I'm undecided on Eons. Anyone out there actually use it regularly? Let me know what you think!
