
Assume it includes equivalents to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and some kind of group networking product (similar to Groove). During the three years, the online versions are constantly upgraded without any actions on your part. Assume also you are allowed 250MB storage, and uploading/downloading files to and from your computer is simple.
The cost of MS Office, prorated over 36 months would be about $14/month. (I'm rounding and assuming buying the software new, not as an upgrade).
The question is - would you pay more than $14 a month for online applications?
