What Would You Pay for Online MS Office-Like Applications?
The dinner discussion tonight centered around the future cost of web based application like Writely, Google Spreadsheets, etc.  Considering the cost of upgrading MS products every two or three years, what would you be willing a month for a total web-based Office-like solution?

Assume it includes equivalents to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and some kind of group networking product (similar to Groove).  During the three years, the online versions are constantly upgraded without any actions on your part.  Assume also you are allowed 250MB storage, and uploading/downloading files to and from your computer is simple.

The cost of MS Office, prorated over 36 months would be about $14/month. (I'm rounding and assuming buying the software new, not as an upgrade).

The question is - would you pay more than $14 a month for online applications?
