The first thing that strikes me is the nifty Ajax interface - when a link is clicked a portion of the page refreshes without the whole pages reloading - nice.
The price is certainly right - for free users get 5Mb storage, unlimited pages and use of Tasks, Calendars, and mobile notifications. For $10 a month users get 100mb plus team collaboration functions, unlimited members, offline access to data and no advertising. Each user needs an account, but the free account will work for team members, while the manager has a paying account.
Viewing privileges can be assigned per folder or per page. Pages can be set as drafts (only you can see) and dated to expire and be archived automatically.
Pages can contain uploaded documents - so to upload a spreadsheet you create a page and then upload the spreadsheet to the page. I like this feature, as you can add notes about the file and collaborators can add comments.
The calendar does not look to be iCal compatible, so you can download information into your own iCal compatible desktop application.
Not a bad choice as an inexpensive collaboration tool. The price is right, but I'd like to see RSS integrated in, as well as iCal support.

Thanks for the great write-up Diane. We have a lot of great things planned for TeamWork Live, one of which is to add iCal support to our calendars. You can already subscribe to RSS feeds for each team's recent activity and we plan to add RSS feeds for new pages in the future.
I am glad you highlighted the fact that files can be attached to pages and commented on instead of being silo'd away in a file depot. We believe that this is a more useful way of working with files since it allows you to keep related information together with the file. You can also search your uploaded Word, PDF, and other file types in TeamWork Live using our search engine, which makes it easier to find information contained in your files.
