Marqui: They've Nailed CMS for Marketing

Executives of every sized company would do well to attend an online Marqui seminar just to see what the potential of content management systems (CMS) are. I attended one today and left excited by both the state of CMS technology, but the way Marqui has bundled it together into a useable marketing solution.

Marqui's application provides complete content control over all of your online assets. Website, blog, email campaigns, newsletters, even customized e-brochures are centralized, making branding and maintenance of corporate identity easy. The application even makes it easy for management to review and approve anything that goes through the system.

The interface deserves a nod - it is simple to use and fully customizable, options and features can be added or removed based on permissions or even corporate need. Just a few clicks takes you from the main dashboard to every feature.

Especially interesting was the way Marqui uses their application to create online brochures, newsletters, announcements and drip email campaigns. Sales reps can customize deliverables to only a limited extent. Branding and most of the content is modulized, but can't be altered. As an example, a rep clicks 3-4 check boxes to add information to a brochure, writes the introduction and his own information, including a photo, is added to the final product.

The application can be customized for a variety of uses: RFPs, Proposals, Reports, Member lists, Dues Management (for membership organizations).

I'm easily impressed by technology that is cool and works - Marqui's application is both. Additionally, they have a well-defined market view and a polished presentation. Great job, Marqui!
