
Now it isn't enough that we need to wear the "right" clothes in real life, but our avatars need to be clothed correctly as well. Don't get me wrong - this is a brilliant marketing move. Their SL store is based on the American Apparel Tokyo store and its lighting changes with SL's lighting. They are putting themselves in front of their demographic, and are the first to do so.
What will be interesting to watch are sales at both the SL store and the real world stores - will customers want the same kind of clothing that adorns their avatars?
