You may know me from my other KMM blog, AListReview. This blog is much, much different. I'll be covering Web 2.0 applications and how they are affecting the way we do business on a daily basis.
I especially liked the way Jeff wrote about how he actually used the Web 2.0 apps he reviewed, or asked for comments on apps he didn’t use. I'll continue that, especially looking for different ways businesses are using products, hacking them, and mashing them up with other products. Interviews with companies and people who work together online in real time or not will be important, as well as covering the pros and cons of new sharing ideas.
Professionally, this blog fits in with my "real job" as a consultant. My company, Beyond Paper, helps businesses integrate technology in their business. I'll share those stories with you as well.
My background is fairly eclectic. I grew up wanting to be a war correspondant for a major news organization, but was told in college to seek work that didn't involve writing. Over the next 15 years I worked in the legal and printing industries, ending my corporate career as a controller for a printing company when I started my own business.
Today, in addition to my consulting work and my blogging for KMM, I publish VA Journal and am just starting YakimaWineBlog.com, which covers the wine region of Central Washington, my home. I live with two cats (Roy and Java), a Brittney Spaniel (Roxie) and my husband, Rick.

Diane, welcome to this blog! I'm sure you'll pick up right where Jeff Carr left off.
