Real Time Collaboration and Web 2.0 tools, tips, and reviews

Microsoft's' acquistion of Groove, and it's CEO Ray Ozzie, was a wonderful opportunity for Bill Gates' company. Ozzie is a long-time innovator, and he's successful enough to not be afraid to speak his mind.

His latest idea, a clipboard for the web, is a good one, particularly with the growing prevalence of web-based applications like calendars and word processors. Dave Winer covers it in simpler language than Oz does here.

It's another sign, to me, that Microsoft is serious about its' commitment to open standards.
