Associated Press reported this morning that 6 young men ages 18 - 20, who raped and robbed a young girl in Boulder, Colorado, were identified and captured by police detectives who utilized the extremely popular social networking site in their investigation by examining the victim's buddy list.

Nice work Boulder PD! A good collaborative effort by all concerned. This, by the way, is a much more appropriate use of internet resources than the fishing expeditions at Google, Yahoo and MSN run by Bush appointee Alberto Gonzales and the Department of Justice.
