McKenzie gives GoToMeeting high scores in almost every category except for voice options. According to Matt, it not only exceeds Microsoft's LiveMeeting in terms of performance on a variety of computers, but it offers a tremendous value for the dollar, including the ability to record your meetings as a .WMV (Windows Media) file. The problem, and I think it's a significant one, is that the voice component is not recorded along with the presentation. There's no integrated audio with GoToMeeting.
Read the full review here. Pricing for this product is MUCH less than what Microsoft is charging for Live Meeting, and while I think having integrated audio is important, I don't think it justifies the disparity in rates, particularly when the desktop sharing features in GoToMeeting (it automatically hides the taskbar and icons) seem to offer more user confidence than LiveMeeting's approach (which will show everything unless you frame it out).
