Thanks to Jason Feinsmith, co-founder and CEO of Accomplice, I've loaded a confidential beta release of their collaboration software. This was one of my picks from the DEMO2006 conference, and I'm looking forward to working with it. I'll be checking with Jason on just what I'm allowed to post about, since there's a EULA in place for his software but I'm assuming that since it's having its tires kicked at DEMO, it can't be too restrictive.
I'm also experimenting with Basecamp, a web-hosted, fee-based collaboration app which is similar in purpose to Accomplice. I'll be looking for functionality, ease-of-use, what the learning curve is like, etc. Of course, Accomplice is still in early beta, and Backbone has been out for awhile so it's not exactly an apples to apples comparison, but I think overall it's a fair one.
Stay tuned for more.
